Northern recreation area temporarily closed for maintenance 20-25 May (UPDATED Wednesday, 15 May 2013)

The northern recreation area at Lake Baroon will be temporarily closed for maintenance works from Monday, 20 to Friday 25 May. The planned works are expected to be completed by the end of the week, however may take longer depending upon weather.
 
Temporary toilet facilities will be available in the nearby Spillway recreation area while the northern recreation area is closed.

Lake Baroon – update on open facilities (Tuesday, 26 March 2013)

The lake and recreation areas at Lake Baroon are currently open for all permitted water and land-based recreation activities.
 
Access to the Great Walk from the Lake Baroon Recreation area is currently open. Please check the Great Walk website for updates and further information.

Temporary closure of Martin Williams Nature Walk (Updated Tuesday, 26 March 2013)

The Martin Williams Nature Walk at the Southern Recreation area at Lake Baroon is temporarily closed due to track damage associated with the extreme weather experienced in late January and February 2013.
 
The Martin Williams Nature Walk will be re-opened once the damage to the track has been repaired.
