With more than two million visitors each year, Seqwater dams and adjacent recreation areas are an important destination for many South East Queensland residents and tourists.
Seqwater strives to balance the ongoing health of the catchments and quality of the region’s drinking water supply while providing access for a range of permit based recreational activities such as powered and non-powered boating, camping and fishing.
Many locations also have a range of day-use recreational facilities that include picnic areas, BBQs, toilets, walking trails and playgrounds available to the community.
Here you will find details of current permitted activities on and around Seqwater’s dams as well as a guide to the conditions of access and use and any important public safety notices.
You will also find more information about a review of recreation activity current being undertaken.
Opening times – Seqwater sites are generally open to the public from 6am to 6pm.
