Seqwater Development Guidelines
Seqwater has developed a set of guidelines to assist land users, developers and Government authorities achieve sustainable water quality outcomes for land use, development and other activities within the region’s water supply catchments.
The Guidelines assist those involved in planning and development by providing information on how development can be undertaken in the catchments while recognising and managing potential impacts on water quality.
Guideline F10 - Policy & Code for preserving water quality in declared catchment areas
This guideline sets out a code and guiding principles for preserving the quality of water in Declared Catchment Areas.
Development proposed in a declared catchment area will be assessed against this guideline and will need to satisfy the requirements in the code.
