This year marks the 20th anniversary of Clean Up Australia Day.
To help support this important event, Seqwater staff volunteers will be participating in Business Clean Up Day in Capalaba.
Business Clean Up Day is designed for Australian businesses as a great opportunity to help improve the quality of the environment and work towards reducing waste.
Last year, saw more than 400 businesses (including Seqwater) across Australia involved in the event.
As part of the activity, Seqwater staff will be involved in a litter pick-up run at Leslie Harrison Dam, Capalaba, as well as a major clean-up of one of Seqwater's vacant blocks sites adjacent to the dam.
There will also be a chemical collection clean up at other sites which involves the safe handling and removal of paints, empty drums and general waste.
